Point differential
Point differential is scoring margin: points scored minus points allowed.
Why it matters
- One of the simplest signals of team strength across a season.
How to interpret it
- Positive = outscoring opponents on average.
- Larger absolute values usually mean clearer separation; still check sample size.
How DRBL uses it
- Team boards, Team Season Compare Performance category, season evidence largest win/loss.
