Contested ranking

A ranking is contested when pairwise wins form a cycle (A beats B, B beats C, C beats A).

Why it matters

  • Discloses that Copeland order is not a uniquely “true” transitive ranking.

How to interpret it

  • Inspect the pairwise matrix; do not pretend absolute order.

How DRBL uses it

  • Rank My Seasons and Rank Team Seasons banners.
